Creations of Joy

I started Creations of Joy in the summer of 1988.  I began to sew, knit and do needlework as a member of 4-H club.   Later, I opened “The Needle Nook”, a small business where I taught classes and sold a range of needlework and knitting supplies. I am a member of the Illinois Artisan Program.

Recently, my daughter joined me to form a dual collaboration of creativity. At a young age, she enjoyed crafts and later nourished
her creativity through numerous art classes. She now holds a degree in
Commercial Art and Graphic Design.

Both of our creations have received recognition at various
county and state fairs.  Both are active in knitting and quilt guilds,
and articles by Creations of Joy have been sold
in the retail market for the past ten years.

Creations of Joy's beautiful items are handmade with love-
the intention is that they become a cherished heirloom
passed on to future generations!
